Since I saw you last, I traveled to Buffalo, New York. I left right after school on Friday afternoon, flew out of JAX and returned at about midnight on Sunday night, ready for SAT-10 with 2nd graders, bright and early on Monday morning.
On Saturday, we drove to Niagara Falls. Words cannot explain such a beautiful sight. Imagine hearing the roar of the water tumbling over the edge...imagine the mist rising up..imagine the speed of the water running over the rapids, closer and closer to the falls.
Sunday greeted us with a layer of fresh snow on the ground and flakes gently pouring out of the morning sky. Picture us, from Florida, running around snapping photos, making snowballs, and acting gleeful at the sight. Needless to say, the locals weren't as excited as we were; they had seen enough of the white stuff :)
Here's a chance for you to write about a time you recently traveled to another place.
I have enjoyed reading all about your travels! I can't wait to read more. Thanks for sharing.

I went to Universal and I had a great time. I went on the rip saw falls water ride and i got relly wet. I also went to the Nick hotel with my friends John and Jeramy.
This huge pool was there and I was up till 11:00 p.m. It was so fun but the next day I was so tired. I drank coffe so I could stay awake the coffee tasted good.
It was really really fun.

It was one out of a million days when I got to go Georgia. I was asleep as usual and I woke up to see that frost was gathering on my dad's window. I made sure that my 4-wheeler was still in the back of the truck.
After 2 million! hours of sitting and eating places, I groaned "Dad when are going to be their!" He told me that it was a short thirty minutes to a campsite.
Then we finally arrived to see my uncle and his friend John. We stayed for about 5 days and hunted. Then we had to leave.
Well I think I wrote to much so i got to go bye!!=]

Once I was in Alanta, Georgia and we went hiking in the forest. When we were going up the mountain, 3 scorpians came on the road. Luckily my dad had his walking stick with him and squashed him.
After our vacation was over it snowed right as we were leaving, but it was REALLY fun.

My greatest trip was to North Carolina. We saw sleet there. I went with my grandma, grandpa, sister and brother. I went camping in a brand new trailer, but our heater stopped working and we were freezing for the next night. My grandma and me went to the closest Walmart and bought a portable heater. It wasn't enough but it helped just a little bit. Me, my sister, and my brother went down to this little creek and it was frozen solid.
My grandpa's face swelled up to a bowling ball. We had to take him to the emergency room. and he didn't want to get embarassed so he wore a hoodie. On our way back the medicine helped just a little bit.
Even though we had a little bit of problems it still was a fun trip.

One time when my All-Star baseball team went to Palm Beach Gardens for a State Baseball tournament. We were able to run out on the field of a Triple A baseball game - the team was called the Jupiter Hammerheads. It was really cool because we actually got to go on a real baseball field. Also my All-star baseball team came in 4th during the State Tournament. It was a great experience.

During the summer I go and vist my realtives in New York with my mom. This year my mom had a lot of work to do, so she but me on a air plane by my self. I was very scaired but i got through it.
It was not a long trip and I had a person who would come and check on me every so often. The trip was awesome. I really liked having a window seat best because I got to see all of the farms that were below us. Now every year I get to go on a plane to vist all of my realtives that live in New York.

One time, I went to the NASCAR races with my friend. We where heading to the concession stand to get dinner and while we where running, my wallet slipped out of my pocket.
Somebody found it and called out my name (it was on the inside) but I was oblivious. They ended up taking the wallet (it had $100.00 in it). I was really bumed! : (
Oh well...

Well, when I went to Alaska, I went on a Glacier cruise. I saw Salt Water Otters, different kinds of seal, and some Orca wales! I had a lot of fun in Alaska. In the Ancorage airport there was a huge Polar Bear (it was stuffed of course).
But anyway, I had a lot of fun on that trip. It was my favorite vaction

I took a six hour ride to Alabama last year and I was bored out of my mind. I looked out my window. When we got in Georgia we stopped to pick cotton, in a cotton field. Then we stopped at a cotton factory and there was only one person there. Also, they were not up and running so he told us how they do it. He also showed us there machines.
After that we went into Alabama. We also stopped again to look at pumpkins. There was a 200 pound pumpkin that was the largest one there. It was as tall as my sister Donna.
Then we went to drop off my older sister Tiffany. When we got home my dad had us right a page on what we learned.

Once I went to Georgia; a pretty big place...bigger than you'd expect. I supposedly went there for Vacation Bible School, but I actually had some fun. I went to a fair, moseyed along in a SUPER WALMART, but none the less spent time with my cousins Stephen, Sean, and Lisa. I had a blast and was disappointed when I had to come back.

I've been to Asheville, North Carolina. We DROVE hours going down wrong roads, bathroom breaks, and fast food, yuck! When we finaly got there we were in the awesome mountains! I saw snow for my very first time! There were wild cows, a creek, and millions of climbable boulders. My dog tried herding one of the cows; it ran for dear life.
There was a cabin there where we slept. It was cozy, except my feet were blue when I woke up. Then we went climbing. We followed a cow path which led to a steep hill. We climbed down holding onto trees for balance. When we got back to the cabin my Dad noticed something. He was missing his cell phone; he must have lost it in the mountains. We never found that phone again. When we got back my Grandma said she tried calling and a bear answered!
Well I think I wrote enough, but it was an awesome vacation!
